Well it is that time of year when local 824 goes into the much needed summer break.
Bus drivers are off enjoying R&R time with loved ones and catching up after a very long road trip. Custodians and maintenance enter the summer excited for the vacation after a year with many changes and challenges. Cleaning and maintaining the schools this summer has always been the goal, with the mindset of getting them ready for the staff and students to return.
The executive would like to say THANK YOU!!! 2022-2023 was a success and we can thank our members for helping make it happen! It could not have been made possible without all the hard work and effort put forth by YOU the members. Schools and education can not run without our smiles and tears so please give yourselves a big pat on the back and we look forward to seeing you all September at our union meeting and in the 2023-2024 school year.
